About Richard Lake

Richard has been a qualified practitioner of hypnotherapy for many years and is an exponent of the latest techniques and treatments to help people with a multitude of problems. He specialises in Cognitive Hypnotherapy which models the treatment on the clients personal perceptions of life rather than just reading from scripts.

Richard is also a qualified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). In simple terms NLP is the study of how each individual makes sense of his/her world uniquely through different personality patterns and sensory filters. Richard holds the following qualifications:-

Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD)

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma is the first externally accredited qualification available to Hypnotherapists. It is becoming recognised as the benchmark standard within the profession. Richard was one of the first therapists in the UK to obtain this qualification.

Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy (Dip C Hyp)

Awarded to Richard by the Quest institute at the Regents College in London after lengthy study and practical demonstration that enables richard to proudly state that he has been Quest Institute trained.

Nuro Linguistic Programming Practitoner (NLP Prac)

Again awarded by the Quest Institute at Regents College after extensive study and practical demonstration.

Nuro Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner (NLP MPrac)

Richard has recently been awarded the qualification of Master Practitioner following further study into the advanced techniques of NLP and its practical treatment of various issues.

Richard is a Licensed member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy that provides insurance and adherence to a Strict Code of Ethics.
